MedSurg Nurse - 7p-7a Shift

Schedule

7pm to 7am, with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period.

Job Description

Join a dedicated 14-bed MedSurg unit where you will provide comprehensive nursing care. The role includes preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications, along with changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' vitals, adjusting specialized medical equipment, and reporting any adverse reactions to medications promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Change dressings and insert catheters.
• Start IVs and adjust specialized medical equipment as needed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
