Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hour days) with every other weekend and holidays required as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The nurse will be responsible for caring for an adult-geriatric patient population and may float to the Thompson Unit or Kingsbury CUSTODIAL patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Participate in patient education and counseling.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain professional standards of nursing practice and ethical behavior.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
• Must be willing to float to Thompson Unit when necessary.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for transportation.
