Orthopedic RN - Night Shift

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Orthopedic Registered Nurses to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on orthopedic pre-and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and manage medication administration.
• Provide care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries and manage post-operative recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Observe and interpret patient conditions, reporting any significant changes.
• Assist in wound care, catheter management, and IV therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in an orthopedic or medical-surgical unit.
• Current BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI certifications (pending CPI is acceptable).
• Proficiency in electronic charting systems, particularly Epic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
