Patient Care Assistant (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This role involves working under the direction of Registered Nurses to complete portions of patient assessments, providing patient care, ensuring unit safety, and maintaining complete and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will also lead and co-lead therapeutic activities.

Schedule

This position requires working 5 × 8 hour shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have PCA/CNA Certification listed on resume.
• 1 year of experience in direct patient care is required.
• Bachelor's degree or two years of experience (paid or unpaid) in direct patient care in a human services field with an Associate's Degree is required; or five years of similar experience with a High School Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
