Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The LPN will provide care for medical surgical patients, including those with COPD exacerbation, infections, and social issues. The role requires the LPN to take their own patient assignment with the support of an RN in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapy, under the supervision of an RN.
• Monitor vital signs, pain assessments, and intake/output.
• Communicate changes in patient status to RN/MD.
• Provide wound care, hygiene, and basic personal care to patients.
• Manage feeding tubes and provide oxygen administration.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
