Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 06:45 to 17:15. This position involves some weekday and weekend on-call duties.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN First Assist to join our pediatric surgical team. The role involves assisting in the operating room for pediatric patients ranging from newborn to 17 years of age. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric general surgery and experience with a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide first assist nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for efficient patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• Prior experience in a pediatric setting is essential.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Active West Virginia RN license or compact license accepted.
