Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. The nurse will work primarily with cardiac patients and others requiring close monitoring in an immediate care setting. The nurse is expected to provide appropriate care and maintain a high level of communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit.
• Monitor telemetry and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5-2+ years of nursing experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in MS/Tele and 2 years in Stepdown / Immediate Care is necessary.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with telemetry and IV starts is essential.
