X-Ray Technologist - Night Shift

This position requires working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing X-ray imaging procedures on patients across various age groups, ranging from neonates to geriatrics. The role involves working in an acute hospital environment, assisting in emergency and routine imaging, and ensuring the highest quality of care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Performing X-ray examinations for various patient demographics including adults, infants, and children.
• Preparing and administering contrast media as needed for specific procedures.
• Utilizing the Epic charting system for patient documentation.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Operating Room (OR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Certification: ARRT-R, BLS.
• Experience in Acute Care settings preferred.
• Ability to perform various types of X-ray procedures such as Barium Swallow, Contrast Enema, and portable X-rays.
