Rotating shifts available: 3x12 hour shifts, either Day (07:00 - 19:30) or Night (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patients’ vital signs, administering medications, and supporting patient needs in a Med/Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to emergencies and initiate life-saving interventions as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments.
• Current Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required, with active status.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation.
