Cardiac Cath Lab RN - 3x12 Hour Shifts

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts (7am – 5:30pm or 7am – 7:30am); includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit needs.

Job Description

The Cath Lab serves both inpatient and outpatient procedural care, focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. The lab is equipped with 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, catering to a diverse range of adult and pediatric patient conditions. The comprehensive program includes pre and post-procedural care holding areas, supported by a team of RNs and CVTs who prioritize excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• Moderate sedation trained
• Expertise in dysrhythmia and telemetry
• RN License (New York only)
• Must have experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchman procedures
• Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Critical care or cardiac experience required

Nice to Have

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment
• EP Lab experience
