Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our mixed unit team, providing high-acuity care in an acute care facility. This role requires expertise in telemetry, post-cardiac care, and total joint replacements, along with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity mixed unit setting.
• Monitor vital signs and manage cardiac drips and dysrhythmias.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in similar settings.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or a compact state.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience managing patients with cardiac drips, dysrhythmias, and total joint replacements.
• Ability to float within scope as needed and handle a patient ratio of 1:6.
