Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering radiation treatments to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort. You will collaborate with a dedicated medical team, including one radiation oncologist and on-site dosimetry support.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Perform quality assurance checks and ensure accurate treatment deliveries.
• Assist with chart checks and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with the dosimetry team and participate in treatment planning.
• Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and explain procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiation therapy role. Valid certification in Radiologic Technology and current state licensure is required. Preferred candidates will have experience with Varian True Beam equipment and GE CT Scanner.
