Clinical Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift - 1830-0700, currently 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge of specific patient conditions and treatments while working independently to complete assignments. Guidelines include physician's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies. Nursing duties include providing support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care aligned with patient needs and physician orders.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with medical staff for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the USA, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire.
