Schedule

Day shift - 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM; candidates must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for.

Job Description

This role requires competencies in EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab. Candidates must be prepared to handle invasive cardiology procedures which include complex coronary interventions, pacemaker/ICD implants, and other advanced cardiovascular treatments.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including pre and post-procedure monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including starting and maintaining IVs.
• Assist in various procedures such as electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablations.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to provide care for COVID patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
