Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Urgent Care Department, where you will assist patients and medical staff in an ambulatory care setting. This position is responsible for the overall operation of the clinic while ensuring high standards of care are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services, collaborating with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality care.
• Lead and direct clinic staff, ensuring efficient operation of patient care activities.
• Maintain medication inventory and ensure quality control checks for Point of Care tests.
• Document all care and services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist providers and staff by anticipating their needs for effective patient care.
• Communicate effectively across departments to support patients and clinic operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska.
• Active Alaska license at time of submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience.
• Knowledge of nursing processes and customer service principles.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
