Job Description

The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatment programs.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Float to other units and take charge shifts when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of OT experience, with a focus on behavioral health preferred.
• Licensure by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Active Vermont or Compact license.
• Active American Health Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with specific patient populations must be listed on the resume.
• Availability to work without exceeding 7 days of requested time off.
• OT skills checklist from within the last year.
• Submission must include proof of address or driver's license for travel rate consideration.
