Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures for patients, including those in the operating room (OR), emergency department (ED), inpatient settings, and portable imaging. The role requires a commitment to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging while working with students and performing competency check-offs.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Float between different departments as required.
• Work with students and conduct competency assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
• Comfortable working with a variety of imaging technologies, including GE, Phillips, and CareStream equipment.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC and Sectra.
