Job Description

The Mixed Unit RN will provide high-acuity nursing care in a mixed unit environment including Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care. Responsibilities include managing complex patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding to rapid patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to adults and geriatrics in a high-acuity mixed unit.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias effectively.
• Manage cardiac drips and provide care for patients with total joint replacements.
• Engage as a part of the Rapid Response team when necessary.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:6 while providing comprehensive care.
• Participate in mandatory orientation shifts for initial acclimation to the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a high-acuity setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with total joints, cardiac drips (no titration), and managing dysrhythmias.
• State of Florida RN or compact license required.
