Day shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care and support for patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the specialty, possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license, and be willing to obtain additional certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient health and vital signs, and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Provide one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty.
