Travel Registered Nurse - Medical and Surgical Units

Schedule

12-hour shifts - Nights (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Travel Registered Nurse will float between various medical and surgical units, providing high-quality patient care. Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across various units including Medical, Laulima (Surgical Acute), and Cardiovascular Units.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and equipment such as Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Maintain a professional nursing attire, adhering to hospital dress code.
• Complete orientation and training for each assigned unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Valid Hawaii nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC).
