X-Ray Tech for Operating Room

Shift: 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech to join our team in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility, along with the willingness to learn pediatrics and neonates. This position involves operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and evaluating images for technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct x-ray procedures in the operating room.
• Evaluate the quality of images produced.
• Participate in the training and competency check-offs for students.
• Float to other departments as needed while primarily assigned to the OR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility.
• Current BLS and ARRT certification.
• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
• Experience with EPIC and Sectra EMR systems.
• Familiarity with GE, Phillips, and CareStream equipment.
• Mask fit required.
