6 x 12 hr shifts, totaling 72 hours in a two-week period, with every 3rd weekend off.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in various areas of a small critical access hospital, including the Emergency Room (ER), Acute Care, and Long Term Care (LTC) facilities. RNs are expected to cover all areas and provide backup as necessary. If assigned to the ER and there are no patients, RNs will lend support in acute and LTC areas. RNs assigned to medication duties will be responsible for passing medications and performing procedures for LTC and acute patients. Please note that this facility is not latex-free.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple departments including ER, Acute, and LTC.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures for patients.
• Support ER operations and assist with patient care in other areas as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
• Minimum of two years' experience in an Emergency Department (ED) setting.
