Schedule

Mid shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general and interventional procedures. The technician will primarily work with adult and geriatric populations and must demonstrate proficiency in the use of ultrasound technology.

Responsibilities

• Execute ultrasound procedures for diagnostic and interventional purposes.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and equipment.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Document procedures using the Epic charting system.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations as they arise.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technician.
• Certifications required: BLS, ARDMS (with specific specialties such as AB, OB, or BR).
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records is mandatory.
