Stepdown/Med Surg Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

36 hours per week, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown/Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients with various conditions, including respiratory issues, weakness, urinary tract infections, acute kidney injury, and chest pain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care in a stepdown and medical-surgical capacity.
• Titrate medications including but not limited to heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and amiodarone.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen therapy.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Previous stepdown experience is a must.
• Must possess an unexpired driver’s license.
