Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of MRI procedures and demonstrate proficiency in operating MRI scanners.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies, focusing on neuro, musculoskeletal, abdomen, breast, MRA/MRV, and general MRI.
• Administer contrast agents as required.
• Screen patients for eligibility for MRI procedures.
• Collaborate with radiology teams for on-site and remote readings.
• Manage patient transport in conjunction with the hospital transport team.
• Be available for weekend calls and holiday shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications are required; ARRT (R) certification is not accepted.
• New York state license is required.
• Experience with Philips 3T and 1.5T MRI scanners preferred.
• Experience with pediatric imaging is required.
• Advanced MRI studies are required; cardiac MRI procedures will not be performed by travelers.
