Vascular Sonographer

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. On-call every 3rd weekend and rotational call during the week.

Job Description

The Vascular Sonographer will perform echocardiograms, venous and arterial Dopplers, providing high-quality patient care. The role requires a thorough understanding of echocardiography and vascular technology, ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms with advanced skill.
• Conduct venous and arterial Doppler studies as required.
• Handle IV line placements and administration of IV medications.
• Interpret EKGs and participate in cardiac and vascular stress testing.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1 to 1 while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an approved program in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography.
• Registry preferred in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography by ARDMS or CCI.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in echocardiography and vascular.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge in the performance of echocardiograms.
