Contract RN - PACU Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM. The schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts with rotating days off.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and managing post-operative pain.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients post-surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to anesthesia.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Perform EKGs and other assessments as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Critical care experience is preferred.
• PACU experience is highly desirable.
