Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Rotating weekends (4 shifts per month).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to adult patients in an acute care setting. The position involves collaborating effectively with team members and other disciplines to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage ventilator settings and support care for mechanically ventilated patients.
• Assist with arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
• Support intubation and bronchoscopy procedures as needed.
• Transport patients with mechanical ventilation safely within the hospital.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting.
• Preferred: Experience in adult critical care, ICU, or emergency departments.
