Job Description

The Pulmonary Thoracic PCU RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the pulmonary and thoracic unit. This role requires a solid understanding of the principles of critical care nursing, strong assessment skills, and the ability to respond to rapidly changing clinical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the pulmonary thoracic unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage critical situations effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification.
• Preference for candidates with intermediate experience, such as from a step-down unit or ICU.
