Perioperative Registered Nurse - Urology Surgery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift is 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

The Perioperative Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing urology surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in perioperative nursing and possess the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Administering anesthesia and monitoring patient responses.
• Providing post-operative care and support to patients.
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
