Schedule

Rotating shifts with a schedule of 2x8 & 2x12 Days (07:00 - 15:30 / 07:00 - 19:30); one weekend per month minimum requirement, including on-call shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shock Trauma OR RN to join our team for day shifts within a high-paced operating room setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in circulating and scrub roles related to trauma surgery, serving a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrub duties as assigned.
• Support trauma surgical teams and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary staff.
• Participate in departmental activities including training, orientation, and safety protocols.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and universal precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Maryland RN license.
• BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, including strong circulating and scrub skills.
• Experience in Trauma Level II care preferred; Level I experience is a plus.
