Shift: Days 7 AM - 5:30 PM. On-call requirement of 10 to 12 days per month, including weekends.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist or Cardiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians.
• Obtain diagnostic quality images for interpretation.
• Provide care for patients throughout procedures.
• Ensure thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment and interventional procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One year of radiologic experience required.
• One year of interventional or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• ARRT and New Mexico State licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Certification issued by ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI or VI), or RCIS Certification preferred.
