Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians, providing care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Provide patient care during imaging procedures.
• Ensure diagnostic quality images are obtained for interpretation.
• Assist physicians in interventional procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One year of radiologic experience required.
• One year of interventional or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• ARRT certification and New Mexico State licensure required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA required.
• Certification from ARRT applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention, or RCIS Certification preferred.
