Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 06:00 to 19:30, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Radiation Oncology Therapist will simulate and administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and directed by the Radiation Physicist and Dosimetrist. This role requires interpreting treatment plans, maintaining patient surveillance, and documenting treatment procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and administer radiation treatments per prescription.
• Interpret the prescription and treatment plan accurately.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and maintain surveillance during treatment.
• Document treatment positions and patient reactions effectively.
• Collaborate in daily chart rounds to coordinate patient care.
• Construct quality immobilization devices for reproducible positioning.
• Participate in weekly block room cleaning and equipment checks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one (1) year of Radiation Therapy experience.
• ARRT National Radiology License.
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Edge, and Aria preferred.
