Schedule

Three 12-hour shifts per week, with a schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. Days are variable.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will deliver direct patient care services with a focus on pulmonary function testing and the initiation of CPAP devices. This role includes supporting requests for the continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, assisting in training on inhaler usage, and setting up patients with DME equipment. The RRT will work closely with physicians to ensure optimum patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focused on pulmonary function testing.
• Initiate and manage CPAP devices for patients.
• Support requests for durable medical equipment supply.
• Assist in training patients on the use of inhalers.
• Set up patients with durable medical equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 4-5 years of critical care experience.
• RRT certification from NRBC or CRT certification.
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Computer literacy.
• Familiarity with ventilators (980) and ABG equipment (iSTAT).
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or physician office setting.
