Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neuro Stepdown Nurse who possesses the ability to provide exceptional care to patients in a neuro stepdown unit. The ideal candidate must have recent neuro stepdown experience, along with a strong background in managing patients with neuro conditions. Additionally, we may also consider candidates with robust med/surg experience, accompanied by NIHSS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neuro stepdown patients.
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their diagnoses and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the neuro specialty.
• NIHSS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Active nursing license verification through Nursys.
