MRI Technologist Position

M-Th, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM, 10-hour shifts

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital and possess skills in operating Siemens MRI machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans while maintaining patient confidentiality and comfort.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly prior to procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI machines (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida).
• Graduate from an accredited Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
