Schedule

Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with floating required between two med surg units.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg RN to provide exceptional patient care in the Med Surg units. This role involves working with patients in various specialties including orthopedic, surgical, and stroke recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Med Surg 5th floor and Med Surg/Tele 6th floor.
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans as needed based on patient acuity.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including scrub color requirements (Royal Blue).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to float between units as required.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, is preferred.
