Schedule

9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, 36 hours per week (3x12). Weekends and holidays as needed. On-call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, developing and coordinating individualized plans of care, and initiating assessments based on patient problems or needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards.
• Support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with a professional nursing practice model.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS - AHA.
• ACLS - AHA.
• Telemetry experience.

Preferred Experience / Certifications

• Cath Lab experience is mandatory.
• Critical care experience is highly preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis is preferred.
• Experience with vascular and/or neuro diagnostics and interventions is advantageous.
