RN Med/Surg Night Shift Position

Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Med/Surg unit. This position requires a strong background in acute care nursing, particularly in medical-surgical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 46-bed medical unit.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically Meditech, for patient documentation.
• Handle patient ratios of 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6 at night.
• Float to surgical unit and ER as needed for med/surg hold nurse capabilities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must have previous med/surg nursing experience in an acute care setting. Meditech experience is preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for this role.
