Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Job Description

The position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Documenting patient care and progress notes thoroughly
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Participating in patient and family education

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• BSN required
• Travel experience (completed at least one contract assignment) required
• Current NJ License or Compact License required
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• *Pending certifications or certifications that expire within 30 days of submission are not accepted
