Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a PICU Nurse, providing exceptional care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of nursing practice in the pediatric intensive care unit. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PICU
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding care and procedures
• Participate in unit education and staff development programs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in PICU or critical care
• Current NYS Nursing License
• BLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• COVID Vaccine Required
