Schedule

Days - 8 or 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekends and holidays as assigned.

Job Description

Join a beautiful brand new psychiatric facility that emphasizes quality care for behavioral health patients. The facility frequently utilizes restraints, therefore it is essential that candidates possess relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients in an acute inpatient hospital setting.
• Assist in the treatment of mental health and behavioral disorders, as well as substance abuse and addictions.
• Document patient care through Epic and maintain paper charting for restraint procedures.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and participate in ongoing training as provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Pennsylvania nursing license at the time of submission.
• A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.
