PM Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 12 PM - 8 PM

Job Description

The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing various tasks related to patient care and imaging procedures. They are responsible for obtaining necessary medical supplies, maintaining the sterility of the field and instruments, preparing requisitions, and effectively communicating with patients and their families to alleviate anxiety while ensuring privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and maintain HIPAA regulations.
• Observe patient conditions before and after procedures.
• Ensure availability of medical records and patient history.
• Begin emergency response in case of complications.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness in scanning rooms.
• Participate in inventory and cleaning procedures.
• Triage and coordinate procedures while ensuring patient safety.
• Communicate with other departments regarding patient status.
• Assist in performing routine procedures and screenings.
• Maintain QA/QC requirements for equipment operation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Radiography Technical training program.
• ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certifications.
• New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
