Emergency Department Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of current ED experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in telemetry and EKG interpretation, and will possess the skills necessary to manage a variety of patient conditions within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms; pass a hospital proctored test with >80% accuracy.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and other electronic medical systems as required.
• Assist with triage and prioritize patient needs based on urgency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient support and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Current NY State nursing license required at the time of submission.
• BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
