Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist will perform routine CT scans, operate CT equipment independently following radiologist protocols, and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The position requires a minimum of two years’ experience in an acute hospital setting and the ability to function autonomously without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT scans in accordance with radiologist protocols.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation effectively.
• Conduct procedures such as venipuncture, biopsies, drainages, and 3D imaging.
• Provide quality imaging for vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, and stroke assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception is required prior to contract start date.
• Experience with CT imaging and related procedures is preferred.
