Schedule

Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM (4 10-hour shifts per week)

Call Requirements: On call 1 weeknight per week and one weekend every 6 weeks

Job Description

The RN in the CVOR will play a critical role in the surgical procedures at our facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures, working collaboratively with a dedicated surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement, and more.
• Utilize surgical instruments and equipment effectively, including bovie cautery, EVH video tower, and patient warming/cooling systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Clinical experience in CVOR, with proven competency in cardiovascular nursing.
• Strong teamwork skills, flexibility with schedule, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
