X-Ray Technician (Travel) - Weekend Schedule

AM Shift: 2-10 PM every other weekend, on call.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. This position involves maintaining all imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, comfort during procedures, and monitoring for procedure revisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment processes in compliance with health guidelines.
• Maintain and assess safety of imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and physiological safety during procedures.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor need for revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in the operating room.
• Current knowledge of clinical practices and healthcare informatics.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography School.
• Active New Jersey State RT License and ARRT certification.
• BLS certification required.
