Job Description

Performs duties to accurately apply ionizing radiation to patients of all age groups from pediatric through geriatric in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the radiation oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy, simulations, and create blocks for treatment.
• Utilize Varian Truebeam technology, including techniques such as 2D, 3D, DIBH, IMRT, and SBRT.
• Work closely with the radiation oncologist to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Lead and mentor less experienced staff in clinical settings as needed.
• Document patient treatments and maintain records within the EMR system (Aria/PACS/Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ARRT certification and West Virginia state license.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have Truebeam experience within the last year.
• Ability to lead and instruct in a clinical environment.
