Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health RN to provide care in an acute care setting. The role involves milieu management, medication management, patient assessments, and thorough documentation. Candidates should have a strong background in behavioral health nursing with a focus on patient care in a non-psychiatric facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and treatment in a behavioral health setting.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Oversee medication administration and management.
• Implement and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in an acute care setting.
• Must possess a Permanent Ohio or Compact License at the time of submission.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
• Two recent references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
